Enrollment is Open!
For the 2026-2027 school year

KindKin Collective is a self-directed learning community for youth ages 7 and up, providing a flexible and engaging environment where children can explore their interests, collaborate with peers, and learn at their own pace. Our program fosters creativity, critical thinking, and independence through a mix of hands-on activities, clubs, and open-ended learning opportunities. We welcome families who value a child-led approach to education and a supportive community of like-minded learners.

Commitment to the Year

Enrollment reserves your member's place for the full academic year. Monthly payment is available, but the spot remains reserved all year to support stability, planning, and group rhythm. If your family's circumstances change during the year, reach out and we'll discuss options with clarity and care.

How to Choose Your Tier

We ask families to choose honestly. Your choice directly supports the health of our community.

The Standard rate reflects the true cost of operating KindKin, including facilitator time, materials, space, and administrative support. This is the rate most families are expected to pay. KindKin's sustainability depends on most families choosing Standard or Pay-It-Forward.

The Reduced rate is reserved for families experiencing significant financial hardship. Space at this tier is limited and not guaranteed. Eligibility requires a brief conversation and is re-evaluated each year.

Sliding Scale Membership Dues

We use the three-jar model to help families self-select with honesty and ease. Choose the jar that genuinely describes your financial experience.

Reduced

For families who frequently stress about meeting basic needs, carry debt that limits access, have no or limited savings, and cannot always afford non-essentials.

Standard

For families who may stress about finances but regularly meet basic needs, have some savings, own or lease a car, and can take an occasional holiday.

Pay-It-Forward

For families who comfortably meet all basic needs, have savings and expendable income, and can afford holidays and non-essentials without financial strain.

Work Exchange

We believe access shouldn't be a barrier. For families who need support beyond our Reduced rate, work exchange offers a way to contribute your time and skills in place of some of the membership dues. Reach out to start a conversation.

Flexible Enrollment

Need something other than a full-year commitment? Reach out to inquire about availability and options.

Payment Policies

Member dues are billed on the first of each month. All payments are non-refundable. Dues hold your member's spot and are required regardless of attendance.
