Self-Directed Learning Center In Sebastopol, CA
KindKin Collective is an Agile Learning Center providing a self-directed learning community for members ages 7 to 13. We are a homeschool resource center, aimed at providing children and their families with resources to make their homeschool journey a positive experience.
The foundation of our program is based on making a brave community for all people. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, or ethnic origin in administration, admission, or any associated activities. We want every member of our community to have the desire to be in community, therefore each member is expected to uphold our values and agreements in order to remain in the community at KindKin.​
Learning
Learning is natural and is happening all the time
Self-Direction
People learn best by making their own decisions. Children are people too.
Experience
People learn more from their culture and environment than from the content they are taught. The medium is the message.
Success
Learning and personal growth are achieved through non-linear processes such as cycles of intention, creation, reflection and sharing.

We are thrilled to announce that we received a micro grant from Vela! This grant enables us to continue to offer self-directed education to the young people of Sonoma County. We are so grateful and excited to provide more programs and services to our members and their families.
