About the event
What is Kinusaiga?
Kinusaiga (pronounced kee-new-sigh-gah) is a fine art created in 1987 by Japanese artist Maeno Setsu, who tucks pieces of silk into carved grooves to form an image. We use mostly quilter's cotton, tucked into foam board. We provide all the supplies and beginner friendly patterns to set artists up for success. You will leave with an 8x8 framed masterpiece of your own, ready to display.
This class is just for adults and takes place in downtown Sebastopol. No artistic ability or experience is necessary. This art is truly fun for nearly everyone!
Details:
